DNA?

My sister recently had her DNA tested. Same mom, same dad so same DNA. I find the results fascinating. It seems that my ancestors were a bit more diverse than I had thought! Just think your parents give you DNA 50/50. Go back another generation you have 25/25 and 25/25 from the grandparents. Then 12.5/12.5, 12.5/12.5, 12.5/12.5 and finally 12.5/12.5 for the great grandparents. One or more of them bring in a little diversity into the mix and it shows up generations later as a 'hint' of what was in your past. I love it!
