Once There Was a Town
This children's story was written prior to If You Looked At Me You Would Not Know. While there are some printed copies, it was primarily intended to be a video book. Initially, it was narrated by my daughter, the narrator of If You Looked At Me You Would Not Know. Since then, our family has grown and the current video version is narrated by my grandson, the co-author of My Grandma Hates Mac & Cheese. The book is intended to to be an introduction to the concept of acceptance. While the work of acceptance and understanding is far more complicated and involved, it begins with conversation and an open mind. We hope that is what this brings. |

My Grandma Hates
Mac & Cheese This book is currently in editing. It is a book about the pandemic and how it impacted my family. My grandson and daughter are helping to co-write the book. The purpose of the book is both to keep a record of how chaotic that time was for us, but also as a way to help others make sense of how their lives may have been interrupted by the pandemic. It was a difficult time for a lot of families, but through support and communication, we were able to get through it. Our hope is that this book can help others do the same. |
